On Sunday at 3:17 a.m., the 911 Call Center received shot spotter notifications of shots fired on Company Street, Christiansted, near Divi Divi Fabric Store. When officers arrived, they discovered an adult Black male lying on the sidewalk across the street with multiple bullet wounds to various parts of his body. Next of kin was notified and the victim was identified as 66-year-old Milton Gordon, also known as Bobo. He is known to be a harmless, homeless individual, the police report stated.

According to the Source Homicide List, the total number of homicides on St. Coix now stands at four, bringing the territory to 11 homicides for 2023.

The Criminal Investigation Bureau continues to investigate this case. Anyone with

*The Source Homicide List is a chronological log of the homicides recorded in 2023 in the U.S. Virgin Islands, as reported by the VIPD. Cases are broken down by island. While this listing is based on VIPD reports, the Source does not include suicides or vehicular homicides in its listing, which the police and some other media do. This can lead to a discrepancy in the number of incidents reported.
