Thursday morning around 950 a.m., 911 received several calls in reference to an overturned emergency response vehicle.
A fire unit was en route to a pending call when it overturned on Queen Mary Highway in the vicinity of Catherine’s Rest intersection, Christiansted.
No fatal injuries were reported however the firefighters were complaining of neck pain and was transported to Juan F. Luis Hospital by ambulance. Both firefighters were treated and released from the hospital.
