Margaritaville Vacation Club, a timeshare resort with a location on St. Thomas’ northern shore by Water Bay, has announced it is reopening its resorts on St. Thomas and Puerto Rico after closing due to COVID-19.

Margaritaville Vacation Club St. Thomas is already welcoming its owners back to the resort, and Puerto Rico’s Margaritaville Vacation Club – Rio Mar, located on the grounds of the stunning Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Beach Resort and Spa, will open its doors again on June 22.

Non-vacation club owners who want to visit the resorts this summer can book a stay through ExtraHolidays.com beginning June 22 on St. Thomas, and June 29 on Puerto Rico.

According to a release from the resort, Margaritaville and all other Wyndham Resorts are working to keep the resort safe during the pandemic with a program developed in partnership with a cleaning industry company Ecolab. The standards of the program include enhanced cleaning and disinfecting procedures and social distancing measures. According to Wyndham, these standards exceed the Centers for Disease Control recommendations.
